How to Uninstall or Disable Extensions in Google Chrome

Extensions can increase a vast assortment of new features and features to Google Chrome, but from time to time you want to take out or disable one or much more of them. Here’s how to do it.

First, open up Google Chrome. In any window, glimpse for the “Extensions” icon in the toolbar, which appears to be like like a jigsaw puzzle piece. Click on it. (Alternately, you can open up the major menu by clicking the 3 dots button and select Far more instruments > Extensions.)

When a menu pops up, select “Manage Extensions.”

In the “Extensions” tab that seems, identify the title of the extension you’d like to uninstall or disable. Every extension has its personal box on the Extensions tab.

If you’d like to disable the extension but not uninstall it, click on the switch beside it to flip it off. At any time you can return to the Extensions tab and re-help it by flipping that change once again.

In Google Chrome, click the switch to disable an extension.

If you’d like to uninstall the extension permantently, click the “Remove” button. This will fully take out the extension from Chrome and you will not be in a position to use it any a lot more (except if you reinstall it later).

The extension will be eliminated entirely.

Alternately, to rapidly get rid of an extension, you can also click on the “Extensions” button in the toolbar, simply click the vertical ellipses button beside the extension’s name, then find “Remove from Chrome” from the menu.
