“It appears to be like you’re looking through a blog publish. Would you like support?” Microsoft’s well known (or infamous?) Clippy mascot has been in hiding for yrs. Now, Clippy could be about to return—but Microsoft is holding it hostage.
If you want Clippy again, head to Twitter and like this tweet. When the tweet receives to 20,000 likes, Microsoft claims to switch the paperclip emoji in Microsoft 365 with that basic Clippy emoji.
Update: We built it to 20,000 likes!
If this will get 20k likes, we’ll swap the paperclip emoji in Microsoft 365 with Clippy. pic.twitter.com/6T8ziboguC

Unfortunately (or alternatively, the good news is), Clippy won’t pop up and aid you write a letter right after it returns. It’ll just sit in the emoji list ready for you to insert a paperclip. But, immediately after Microsoft gets to 20,000 likes on Twitter, at the very least you’ll be inserting the right paperclip.
Now, how about changing the dog emoji with Rover? Clippy might be beloved (or hated), but Rover was an vital aspect of Microsoft’s greatest functioning method. We’re speaking about Microsoft Bob and not Windows XP, of class.
(But Rover was a section of each if you take place to want Home windows XP to Microsoft Bob for some explanation.)
